CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A new study claims Stallings is the safest town in the Charlotte area.
SafeWise used FBI crime data to rank North Carolina towns and cities.
Stallings came in seventh, with .7 violent crimes per thousand people.
The study noted the town's newsletter has an entire page dedicated to police information.
Matthews came in as the 11th safest, with a violent crime rate of 1.7 per thousand.
Also in ranked the teens were Huntersville, Mint Hill and Cornelius.
