Hurricane Florence made landfall Friday morning as a Category 1 storm near Wrightsville Beach, bringing with it heavy rain, strong winds, and life-threatening flooding.

Florence has dumped inches of rain across the region, triggering flash flood warnings.

It took us two hours to get through this line at the Harris Teeter off Highway 210 right after it opened.
