Tenn. officials to discuss bus crash that killed 6 from Statesville

The wife of the pastor confirmed to Channel 9 that the bus that crashed was from Front Street Bapitist Church in Statesville.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will announce Monday the results of the investigation into a bus crash in Jefferson County that killed eight people, including six from Statesville.
 
The crash occurred in October on Interstate 40 westbound and involved a church bus out of Statesville. Six people on the bus died from their injuries, as well as the driver of an 18-wheeler and a passenger in an SUV also involved in the crash.
 
The eight killed ranged in age from 24 to 95.
 
Officials will hold a news conference Monday at the THP district headquarters in Knoxville.
