CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A little rain didn't stop a celebration like this.

Thousands of fans, complete with their colorful ponchos, packed inside an extremely soggy Bank of America stadium to watch the Panthers face off against the Saints once again.

Fans said they had no doubt their team would pull out a win.

"It was a terrific game, couldn't get no better than that," said one fan.

"It was great, especially when it started raining, it just turned everything around for us," said another fan.

For the first time in five years, the Carolina Panthers are playoffs bound, but it wasn't easy.

The road to victory lane came down to the last few seconds of the game.

Cam Newton and the Cats did what they normally do, kept on pounding to the very end.

The Panthers beat the Saints 17 to 13. They'll take on the Falcons next week.
