Three men accused of trying to break into Gaston Co. home

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Three men are accused of attempting to break into a woman's Gaston County home while she slept early Saturday morning.

Police said Brandon Bozardt, 19, Andrew Collins, 19, and Gary Williams, 23, tried to break into a West Buckoak Street home in Stanley between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., according to Channel 9’s partners at the Gaston Gazette.

Police charged the men with felony attempted first-degree burglary.

The woman was asleep in the front room of the house during the attempted break-in, officials said.

The men are being held in the Gaston County Jail under a $10,000 bond each and are set to face a judge Monday afternoon.
