Tractor-trailer, 5 cars crash on I-77 in York County, officials say

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A tractor-trailer and five cars collided Thursday afternoon on Interstate 77 in York County, officials said.

The crash happened on I-77 northbound near Exit 79 and Dave Lyle Boulevard in Rock Hill.

Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area and find a different route.

Officers have not said if anyone was hurt in the crash.
