CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A tractor-trailer and pick-up truck collided Tuesday morning in west Charlotte, causing miles of back ups.
Around 9:15 a.m., police said the tractor-trailer turned left toward the Interstate 485 outer loop and collided with a pick-up truck on Wilkinson Boulevard.
The wreck shut down one inbound lane of Wilkinson Boulevard between I-485 and Sam Wilson Road. Traffic was backed up into Gaston County and delays were expected in the area through midday.
