STATESVILLE, N.C. — The trial over a deadly 2013 bus crash involving a Statesville church group will begin Tuesday.
A dozen survivors and five estate holders filed a lawsuit against the tire manufacturer, Hankook Tire, alleging that the company knew or should have known the tire's design would put people in unreasonable danger.

Six people from Front Street Baptist Church, along with two others involved in the crash, were killed when the bus's tire blew on Interstate 40 in Jefferson County, Tennessee.
