Trooper: 3 injured in head-on wreck in Iredell Co.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people were injured after a wreck in Iredell County, according to North Carolina Highway Patrol troopers.

A Hyundai sedan was driving northbound on Old Mountain Road when it crossed left of center in a curve, went on the wrong side and hit a 1990 Ford Bronco head on.

Two people were trapped in the Hyundai. The driver and the two in the Hyundai were taken to the hospital, but everyone is expected to be OK, according to hospital officials.
