DALLAS, N.C. - North Carolina Highway Patrol troopers were investigating a deadly accident just north of Dallas Tuesday morning.
Troopers said 51-year-old Gloria Chacon-Hernandez was killed when her 1997 Nissan ran off of Dallas High Shoals Highway, overturned and crashed into a tree near Miles Road around 6:30 a.m.
Officials told Channel 9 she was on her way to work.
Troopers said that speed does appear to be a factor in the crash.
