CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A 2-year-old died Saturday in a crash on Interstate 77.
Troopers said two cars were speeding in the northbound lanes near Remount Road.
They added DWI charges are pending against both drivers: Kelvin Nicholas and Randal Jn-Baptiste.
Troopers said Nichol’s young son was in the car and died in the accident. Three others were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
