Troopers: Teen flipped truck while driving 110 mph

KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — A Kings Mountain teenager accused of speeding over 100 mph and crashing his truck will face a judge Monday.

State troopers said 18-year-old Jordan Camp was speeding at 110 mph when he flipped his pick-up truck on Highway 74 Saturday afternoon.

A trooper actually watched the accident happen and told Channel 9's partners at The Shelby Star that Camp tried to pass a car, then overcorrected and crashed.

Camp was not hurt. He's charged with speeding and reckless driving.
