TSA confiscates loaded gun at Charlotte airport

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police said someone tried to bring a loaded gun into the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

Transportation Security Administration officials said the .38-caliber had a round chambered when it was discovered Wednesday at a security checkpoint.

Richard Skulina was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

TSA agents found a revolver in someone's luggage two weeks ago.

In 2013, TSA agents seized 26 guns at the airport.
