CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two men were shot during an attempted home invasion in east Charlotte, police said.
Officials responded Saturday night to a house in the 1900 block of Willie Worrell Drive.
Neighbors told Channel 9 they heard three or four gunshots.
According to police, both of the men who were shot were taken to the main campus of Carolinas Medical Center for treatment. One of the men has possible life-threatening injuries, police said.
Authorities said it appears that the residents of the house may know the suspect.
CMPD officials said detectives are currently working to establish a motive.
