Two taken to hospital after South Blvd accident

CHARLOTTE — Two people were injured after an accident on South Boulevard on Sunday night.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, one SUV turned in front of the other at South Boulevard and East Hebron Street.

Police said one of the drivers suffered some broken bones but will be OK. The railroad crossing was not damaged. CMPD said this accident could have been much worse than what it was.

Police have not decided if charges will be filed.
