US Marshals believe man wanted on multiple felonies may be in NC

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — Federal agents are asking for the public's help to find a man wanted on multiple felonies who they believe is in the Buncombe County area of North Carolina.

Anthony Bowers, 24, has been charged with assault on a law enforcement officer inflicting serious injury, assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, felony hit-and-run causing serious injury/death, possession with the intent to sell/distribute cocaine, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, resisting a public officer and eluding arrest with a vehicle.

He is described as a black man with dreads, standing about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing about 145 pounds.
