Victim flees, suspect surrenders after domestic disturbance SWAT standoff

SWAT responded to a home on Rotherham Lane in reference to a domestic disturbance incident early Tuesday afternoon.

When officers arrived, the female victim fled the scene and the suspect barricaded himself inside the home.

Officers said the man had weapons.

Nearby residences were evacuated.

The suspect surrendered around noon.

There were no reported injuries during the standoff.
