CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police identified one man wanted in connection to a home invasion in west Charlotte.
Darius Bailey, 18, is wanted by the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team on 14 outstanding warrants, said investigators.
Bailey is accused of breaking into a home on Honeywood Avenue and robbing five people at gunpoint.
Channel 9 talked with a victim in the attack. She said Bailey didn't act alone and that his partner wore a blond wig as a disguise during the crime.
"I was sleeping upstairs when I heard fighting downstairs," the woman said. "The men came upstairs and one had a wig on. It had bangs and flipped outward at the end."
The woman said she and her four friends were sleeping inside the home when the two men broke into the house. The woman showed Channel 9 where one man climbed through a narrow window.
"My one friend was downstairs when they came into the house," said the woman. "They hit him in the head with a weapon. He had to have 12 staples put in his head."
The woman said the men demanded cash and electronics.
One man also reportedly stole a shotgun and fired it in the house.
The woman showed Channel 9 the shell casing, as well as the damage done to her floor and wall.
“I've only lived here a few months and I already want to move," said the woman. “I would never imagine that this would happen to me. It has really scared me."
According to police, Bailey was last known to frequent an east Charlotte neighborhood near the intersection of Barrington Drive and Milton Road.
If you have any information on his whereabouts, or the identification of the second man, you are asked to contact police.
