SHELBY — Police have released the names of the victims in Saturday's fatal accident in Shelby.
Dorman Keith Pompey, 55, and his wife, Frances Parks Pompey, 55, died.
The Pompeys were grandparents of the child who was ejected from their car. The child is being treated at Carolinas Medical Center. There is no update on his condition.
Demetrist Roberts has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and driving while under the influence. He is being held in the Cleveland County Detention Center without bond. Click here to read about the accident.
