Video shows man firing shots in Lancaster following fight

LANCASTER, S.C. — There is disturbing video taken moments after a young woman was shot during a fight in Lancaster.

Witnesses said there were two people shooting and they heard dozens of gunshots.

"They were fighting right in my driveway. Right there," said Bria Nelson, who lives in a mobile home in Melton Park Circle off West Meeting Street.

She said the fight involved her sister and another woman and it started over a Facebook post.

"She called me saying she was coming over here, and someone was following her," Nelson said.

She said at first, it was only a fight between her sister and another woman then it escalated.

Someone pulled a gun and shot a 21-year-old woman twice in the stomach.

She was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center and is expected to recover.

David Lawrence lives on the street where the incident happened, and he captured it on his cellphone.

On the video, there is a man pointing the gun in the middle of West Meeting Street firing at an SUV that was just leaving.

Lancaster County sheriff's deputies said the woman was shot before the video was recorded.

She was on the ground near West Meeting Street when friends took her to a nearby hospital.

Toward the end of the minute-long clip there is a second shooter.

Nelson said guns should have never been involved.

"I just feel like it shouldn't have went that far,” she said. “Like, if you're all going to fight, it should have been just that.”

Two men are in custody and deputies are looking for one more, authorities said Friday.

The Sheriff's Office arrested Lewis Johnson Jr. Thursday and charged him with attempted murder.

They said the gun used belonged to Zion Twitty who's already behind bars held in an unrelated case.

Police are looking for Foresio Jones.
