Visitors to Hunger Games home must now have permission

NORTH CAROLINA — The owner of the popular attraction where the Hunger Games was filmed said he is fed up with vandals and now no one is allowed on the property without his permission.

Rather than just sightseeing, the owner, Wad Shepard, said people have been stealing and destroying things at the Henry River Mill Village in Burke County.

For a while now, Shepard has been trying to sell the 72-acre village with an asking price of $1.4 million.
