$125K raised at Saturday's walk for Crohn's & Colitis Foundation

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Eyewitness News meteorologist Keith Monday was at the Take Steps walk for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Saturday morning.

The organization helps adults and children, such as 11-year-old Jaci, who are affected by bowel disease.

Saturday’s walk raised more than $125,000.

Jaci, who is now in remission, and said she'll be at the walk with her friends and family.

“I think raising awareness will be the best -- so uncommon,” Jaci said.

The walk starts at 10 a.m. at Symphony Park in SouthPark.
