Autopsy report: 2-year-old Gaston Co. boy died from blunt force trauma to abdomen, head

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — An autopsy report released Wednesday shows a 2-year-old Gaston County boy died from blunt force trauma to the abdomen and head.

The report also shows Kye Rashid was covered in bruises and had cuts on both sides of his mouth.

Kye's mother's boyfriend, Marquis Graham, 25, is charged with first-degree murder.

The little boy was pronounced in November after Graham and Kye’s mother brought him to CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

Graham and the little boy’s mother were living together as boyfriend and girlfriend with Kye and her one other child.
