CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A would-be robber was stopped by bank employees and customers Wednesday morning after he held up a gun and demanded money.
Officials said Roosevelt Curry tried to hold up the Wells Fargo on South Boulevard at about 10:45 a.m. but a bank employee and several customers were able to subdue him until police got there.
Police arrested Curry and charged him with attempted armed robbery.
