CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Ice is stalling operations in some areas across the nation, creating a domino effect for travelers across the country.

Eyewitness News was at Charlotte-Douglas Airport on Sunday night and early Monday to see how the storms were impacting people.

Flights to Dallas, Houston, Chicago and Cincinnati are cancelled.

Many other flights have been delayed.

“My flight got delayed three times and then eventually canceled for the night,” said traveler Sabrina McCormick.

The airlines say it could be days before some travelers finally make it to their destination.
