CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for the thief who they say robbed a woman at gunpoint as she tried to make a bank deposit early Friday morning in northwest Charlotte.
Officers told Channel 9 that the woman was about to make a deposit at the Wells Fargo branch in the 2600 block of West Sugar Creek Road around 8:30 a.m. when a man with a gun approached and robbed her.

The woman was not hurt and police have not yet released a description of the suspect.
