Woman shot in west Charlotte drive-by shooting, police say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman was shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting in west Charlotte, police said.

Police said the woman was sitting on her porch on South Hoskins Road when someone in a car fired a gun and drove away.

The woman was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive her injuries.

Police have not made any arrests.
