CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Road rage led to a stabbing Friday afternoon that shut down rush hour traffic in east Charlotte, police said.
The suspect also assaulted a child.
The incident happened near the 3900 block of The Plaza near East Sugar Creek Road.
The suspect struck the victim's vehicle multiple times and tried to stab them, police said.
The suspect was injured during the fight and has serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
