Woman calls 911 after getting wrong sauce on pizza

GASTONIA — A woman was arrested Thursday after police say she misused 911.

According to police, Bevalente Hall, 37, called 911 on Thursday to report that her pizza was prepared wrong.

Hall's husband contacted Channel 9 Sunday and said they put the wrong kind of sauce on her pizza and then threw it away.

He said she paid for the pizza, but they wouldn't give her a refund or give her a new pizza.

Hall's husband said an officer who was there responded by yelling at her and that is why she called 911.

Gastonia police said Hall is charged with misuse of the 911 system for using it for a purpose other than an emergency communication.  She can make her case in court, police said.
