CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Women looking to start up their own business in Charlotte were given the opportunity to help get their business off the ground.
Direct Point Advisors held a workshop for female entrepreneurs at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Southpark this weekend.
It was meant to help women create a business model and action plan to start up their business.
Organizers said it is meant to help them take the next steps.
“That’s why we know women entrepreneurs can be successful when they are given the right tools and they are given the right support and move forward and be an economic driver for the community," said Judy Bezler, with Direct Point Advisors.
The workshops are being held once a month.
Organizers said they will take place in different parts of town.
