CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Officials responded to a crash Tuesday morning that temporarily shut down Interstate 85 southbound near Kannapolis.
The wreck at exit 58, U.S. 29-601 delayed traffic for miles.
Tow trucks were at the scene to remove the wrecked vehicles, including a tractor-trailer.
Onlookers caused delays in the area on I-85 northbound.
