• WSOC-TV viewers donate food to benefit local families

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Generous Channel 9 viewers stopped by the studios Wednesday to feed those in need.

    Second Harvest Food Bank will distribute all of the food collected starting Thursday.

    Local businesses and citizens dropped off thousands of pounds of food to feed the hungry.

    More than 600 food pantries, soup kitchens and other local agencies rely on Second Harvest to keep their shelves stocked.

    Local children and their families will benefit from the donations.
