YORK COUNTY, S.C. - York County drug agents are on the scene of an active meth lab in York.
Drug agents were wearing chemical suits in order to safely dismantle the lab at 30 Hudson Street in York.
Channel 9 was told five people are being questioned -- four men and one woman. No children were living in the home.
Police have asked neighbors to stay in their homes until the scene is made safe. Some neighbors said they have been smelling funny chemical smells, but didn't know what from.
Eyewitness News has been watching agents carry suspected drug-making items from the house.
So far there are no arrests. Channel 9 was told the investigation will take all afternoon. This is the 15th meth lab of the year in York County.
