CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Samiyah Brown, 7, who was saved from drowning in a south Charlotte creek, is in good condition at Carolinas Medical Center.
Her 11-year-old brother, Randez Brown, died in March.
Witnesses said he jumped into a creek behind Marie G. Davis Middle School after his sister fell in the water.
The girl could be released from the hospital soon.
