HICKORY, N.C. - Police in Hickory arrested a man accused of shooting outside a popular recreation center.
McDonald Thompson is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury.
One man died and another was seriously injured after someone opened fire during an argument outside the Brown-Penn Recreation Center in September.
Investigators said more charges are possible.
Thompson was jailed at the Catawba County Detention Center with bail set at $150,000.
