Congressional negotiations seeking more modest federal budget deal

WASHINGTON D.C. — Congressional negotiations are now seeking a more modest federal budget deal before the end of the year, when another round of sequestration cuts will hit.

Some leaders may make it difficult to reach an agreement before the deadline.
