The Bunny Bash will be held at Dorton Park, located on Poplar Tent Road, in Concord. Adults and children of all ages are invited to participate in the free event.
Free shuttle parking is available from The Foundry and Village Green at Afton Village, McGill Baptist Church and Cannon School.
Beginning at 11 a.m. children can enjoy a variety of free activities including making a Spring Hat Contest, face painting and amusement games. Your children can meet Woody, Cinderella, Jack in the Bean Stalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Little Bo Peep, Tinkerbell, Bob the Builder and his helper Wendy, Dora the Explorer and many others on the Bunny Trail.
Egg hunts will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will be divided into the following age groups. 7-9 year olds on the large soccer field and 10,11, 12 year olds on the disc golf course. Pre-school aged children’s will be able to gather a limited number of eggs while traveling on the Bunny Trail.
Children can also participate in a variety of sports clinics including golf, tennis, disc golf, and soccer.
This event is a fundraiser for The City of Concord Youth Council. The Youth Council will have a Hotdog/Bake Sale at the event. All other activities and fun are free to the public.
Police officers, K-9 units and fire department officers will be on hand to give out safety tips.
