An Oconee County man is dead after a murder-suicide that also killed an 11-year-old girl and injured the man's wife.

Oconee County coroner Karl Addis says the 34-year-old man shot his wife and her daughter, then shot himself Saturday night. The wife was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital's trauma center.

Shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, emergency dispatchers received a call from a man who said he had shot his family. Five minutes later, a woman called, saying she and her daughter had been shot and her husband had shot himself at a home near Westminster.

 The man was found dead in the living room, while his 29-year-old wife was found several feet away from him. Her daughter was found dead in her bed.

 Autopsies will be conducted Monday.
