5th Annual 'Bowling For Babies' Held In Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

The Zetas of Charlotte held their fifth annual “Bowling For Babies” Saturday to benefit the March of Dimes.

The goal was to help bring awareness to infant prematurity and prenatal care.

“We just want people to understand some of the things that cause it, what they can do to prevent it,” said Michelle Pierce.

Bowlers competed in various categories for prizes as well as to help raise money for a good cause.

The event was held at the AMF University Lanes on North Tryon in Charlotte. According to organizers nearly every lane was full of bowlers.

The event was sponsored by the Zetas of Charlotte Benevolent Foundation. The foundation has been a longstanding supporter and partner of the March of Dimes.

The Zetas will also be taking part in the “March for Babies” walk in Uptown Charlotte on April 24.
