On Tuesday, Barrino’s manager, Brian Dickens, said the singer took too many aspirin and is expected to be OK.

“Actually, Fantasia last night became a little overwhelmed with the personal things she's been going through, so actually, she took some Bayer aspirin and she took a few too many trying to get asleep … trying to get away … and she took a few too many,” Dickens said.
He also said Barrino was "dehydrated and exhausted at the time."
Barrino was recently named in court documents as having had an affair with a married man.
Paula Cook filed the complaint last week, which says her husband, Antwuan Cook, began having an affair with 26-year-old Barrino in 2009. On Monday, Dickens released a statement to TMZ.com, a celebrity news website, that said Barrino believed that the couple was separated.
“Fantasia believed Mr. Cook when he told her he was not happy in his marriage and his heart was not in it. She believed him when he told her he and Mrs. Cook separated in the late summer of 2009. She believed Mr. Cook when he told her he lived elsewhere," the statement said.
Dickens said Barrino is heartbroken over "any pain she may have caused," adding that she is "a fighter and a survivor."
The complaint references a sex tape, but Dickens said there is not one.
Barrino, who grew up in Charlotte and High Point, won the third season of 'American Idol.' In the time since, she has seen success with both platinum and gold albums, an autobiography, a role in "The Color Purple" and a made-for-TV movie. However, the singer has also had financial troubles. In 2009, Barrino's home off Elm Lane nearly went to auction because of back taxes, but the fees were paid and the house was saved. Also, liens were filed against Barrino's Piper Glen home over unpaid homeowner's association fees.
She is due to release her third album, titled "Back To Me," on Aug. 24. "Fantasia For Real," a VH1 reality show, debuted earlier this year, chronicling her struggles as a single mother and her attempts to jump-start her career, which has sagged in recent years.
