Buses Collide In West Charlotte School Parking Lot

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

A school bus fender bender gave parents at a local elementary school a serious scare Monday afternoon.

Two buses, with about 45 students onboard, collided in the parking lot of Allenbrook Elementary School in west Charlotte.

No one was seriously hurt, but all the students were put in ambulances to be checked out.

Parents, who were waiting for their children at nearby bus stops, drove to the school and didn't know what to expect.

“When I see Medic, I’m thinking something’s really, really wrong, not really knowing if that’s my kid’s bus or anything, or what was going on, but I spoke with them about it, and she's fine,” said father Quadis Davis.

None of the injuries were serious and all of the students were picked up by their parents.
