Organizers said the concert would help fund the playground that will be built in honor of Zahra Baker, the 10-year-old from Hickory, N.C. who was killed last September, on Sixth Street Southeast in Hickory.
The Kiwanis Clubs in Catawba County, including the Kiwanis Clubs of Newton, Western Catawba and Hickory, and the Catawba County Golden K Club have partnered to raise money for the playground.
