CMC-Lincoln Sending Medical Equipment To Honduras

 

LINCOLNTON, N.C. —

Carolinas Medical Center – Lincoln is donating medical equipment to a new pediatric burn care unit in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

CMC – Lincoln recently opened a replacement hospital in Lincolnton. The equipment its donating is from its former facility.

Crews began loading the equipment for shipment on Wednesday morning. They’re sending beds, exam tables, medical carts, patient monitors, operating room tables, sterilizers, surgical lights and various other kinds of equipment to Honduras.

The donation is being made in cooperation with the Heineman Medical Research Foundation.
