CMS Bus Involved In Crash, No Students Injured

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

More than two dozen students were on a school bus when it was involved in a crash with a car, CMS officials said.

None of the 28 students aboard Bus No. 1412 was hurt in the crash, CMS said.

The bus had just left North Mecklenburg High School when the crash happened just before 3 p.m. at the corner of Gibbon and Nevin roads in north Charlotte.

CMS said a car hit the side of the bus. The driver of the car was injured and taken to Carolinas Medical Center University, according to Medic. That person's injuries are non-life-threatening, Medic said.
