CONCORD, N.C. —

Family members hugged and cried as they put up new signs and gave out fliers asking for information leading to an arrest of their loved one's killer. Police have upped the reward for information leading to an arrest and released a sketch of a person of interest.

Officers wasted no time handing out the new fliers near the Sundrop Bottling Company along Branchview Drive at Cabarrus Avenue. It's where Donna Barnhardt and Darrell Noles were shot and killed during a robbery in June. It's also where Barnhardt's three children talked to Eyewitness News about their quest for an arrest. Seth Barnhardt talked about the reward jumping to $75,000.

"Personally I'd turn someone like this in for free but if $75,000 does it? Yeah, whatever it takes," he said.

Police said the sketch is of a man seen by a witness trying to get into the locked Sundrop Bottling Company one hour before the murders. Concord Police Deputy Chief Guy Smith said several witnesses who saw a man running from the bottling plant seconds after the murders also said the sketch looked like the man they saw.

"There were several people on Cabarrus Avenue who saw the suspect who committed these homicides. We showed them these sketches and they're very similar," he said.

Barnhardt's family members spent Monday putting out banners. They also worked with police and volunteers handing out 10,000 fliers. Barnhardt's son Shawn explained what keeps him going through these tough times.

"She would want us to keep going on. Just keep going on and remember her, the good things she was about and taught us. That's the only way I can go through," he said.

Police said the man they are looking for seen in this sketch is a person of interest. They wouldn't get into details but they believe he's from this area.

Anyone with information can call police at 704-920-5000.
