Crash Flips Car, Shuts Down West Charlotte Road
CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
One car flipped over in a multi-car crash on West Boulevard on Monday night.
West Boulevard closed down during the investigation at Clanton Road at about 10 p.m.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom was on the scene within minutes and saw the car flipped over with major damage. Investigators said 5 people went to the hospital.

One of the victims was trapped in the wreckage for at least 10 minutes.
Investigators have not released the cause of the crash.
