Crews Plan To Resume Search For Missing Swimmer Monday

Crews plan to return to Stanly County Monday morning to continue searching for a man last seen swimming in Badin Lake. Stanly County Sheriff’s deputies say a man in his 40’s went missing Saturday afternoon.

Deputies say the man was tubing off the back of a boat when he fell off and went under. Officials won't say if the man was wearing a life jacket. Crews searched with underwater cameras and search dogs until 9:30 Saturday night.
