Crews Work On Two Overnight Water Main Breaks

Crews had to work on two water main breaks overnight in Charlotte.

Utility crews learned about the first break on Tranquil Avenue around midnight. Tranquil Avenue is between Selwyn and Hillsdale.

A second water main break happened on Boyce Road, near Sardis Road, right in front of Charlotte Preparatory School. Today is the first day of class for students at Charlotte Prep.

Utility crews fixed the break on Boyce Road and are waiting for asphalt so they can repave the road. One lane is closed until it is repaved.
