Dog Saves Family In Huntersville Trailer Fire

A family dog in Huntersville is a hero after saving its owners from a fire.

The blaze started around 3 a.m. Monday at a trailer home on Cimmeron Road.

Firefighters say the dog woke up the five people inside.

Crews were able to quickly put out the flames.

No one was hurt, but the trailer was destroyed. The Red Cross is helping the family find a place to stay.
