CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police said two men worked together to rob a convenience store and the customers inside. Investigators said a clear surveillance video could help capture the culprits.

On the video, a man with a gun pushes a customer to the side and then points his weapon at the cashier.

It happened at 11 p.m., but the store was not empty.

"They not only robbed the store, the cashier -- they robbed the customers, too. There were, like, three customers in the store and they robbed all of them," said store manager Gary Shah.

Police hope someone can identify the men from a surveillance video. They said the first robber walked in wearing a white tank top and blue pants and had his hand in his pocket.

Police said the second culprit wore a white shirt and jeans. They said he held the door open for a customer and then seconds later, robbed that same customer at the store's ATM.

A TV monitor above the cash register shows customers they're being taped. Shah said the robbers must have seen it and didn't care.

Security cameras captured the crime from eight different angles.

Police said the thieves pointed guns at customers as they forced them to the floor.

Detectives said the store's digital surveillance system is rare, expensive, but extremely helpful.

Shah hopes it prevents another crime.

"They were bold. We need to find these people as soon as possible because if they were bold like this, they will do these things to other people, too," said Shah.
